A wide range of systems and practices fall under the umbrella of holistic treatments, working together to help you find the deeper balance which is the cornerstone of lasting health and well-being. They include alternative medical systems (Chinese Medicine, biofeedback) and all the practices derived thereof, such as acupuncture and acupressure, mind-body therapies (hypnotherapy, Neuro-Emotional technique), nature-based therapies (homeopathy, aromatherapy, herbal medicine) and energy therapies (Applied kinesiology).

Here is the full range of services I provide, with a few words on their individual benefits.

Acupuncture can be used as an adjunct treatment or as a more effective alternative to conventional treatments in tackling a wide range of disorders, including addiction, chronic pain (back or headaches, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis), migraines, insomnia, depression and anxiety. It has also shown to alleviate the side effects of cancer treatments.

Electroacupuncture – the electrical stimulation of acupuncture points – provides effective pain relief and has delivered good results as and a treatment for neurological disorders. Studies suggest it can also stimulate the release of endorphins.

Acupoint Injection Therapy (AIT)

Acupuncture point injection therapy (AIT) works through the injection of small amounts of remedies such as homeopathics, herbs, or vitamins in acupuncture points. It appears to be more effective when used alongside traditional acupuncture treatment, particularly in providing relief from acute and chronic pain. It also helpt to encourage healing more rapidly.

Aromatherapy can help restore a state of harmony and well-being through the inhalation of essential oils. It works well as an adjunct treatment in relieving physical pain, as well as mental anguish, and was shown to stimulate brain function. I often incorporate different essential oils during healing sessions as an adjunct therapy according to the person’s individual needs.

Beyond its use within certain schools of therapy, hypnotherapy can act as an effective treatment for addiction and various long-term conditions, such as IBS, and pain. It can help you lose weight, quit smoking or overcome insomnia as well as other deep seated fears and emotions.

Empath Yoga

Combining yoga and meditation with hypnotherapy, Empath Yoga can help you overcome emotional blocks and find self-healing.

Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)

NET is a mind-body technique that helps target and remove blockages so that the body can heal naturally. NET can yield faster results because it uses a methodology that quickly accesses the primitive parts of the brain to zoom in on unresolved stressors.

Biofeedback testing is an innovative method of assessing energy imbalance in the body, based on electrical measurements made using specific acupuncture meridian points located on the feet and hands. This is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a person’s energetic health and balance. These measurements are recorded by a specialist to help put together a person’s current health condition. It does not use needles and is completely non-invasive.

NAET-Allergy Elimination

Combining Western and Eastern non-invasive healing practices, including acupressure, kinesiology and nutrition, NAET will help you eliminate allergies of all kinds.

Recent studies are beginning to vindicate this ancient form of alternative medicine, enduring as a home remedy in many cultures. It is the use of cups to create a vacuum in a particular area of the body, most commonly the back. This technique increases circulation, releases the fascia and helps release pathogens through the surface of the skin.

Tui na

Dating back to ancient China, Tui na massage therapy is aimed at restoring the smooth flow of vital energy (qi) through the body. It is a very effective therapy for pain, sciatica and muscle spasms. It can also provide alleviation of stress-based disorders like insomnia and migraines.

TCM Nutritional Consultation

A healthy diet is the foundation to harmony and well-being. Based on the theory of the five elements, traditional Chinese medicine can help you choose the types of food (specific to your body type and constitution) you should include in your diet to restore inner balance and prevent disease.

I can work together with you to help you choose the treatment best suited to your needs. Bear in mind, however, that many of these procedures work best in conjunction with traditional medicine and, especially if you’re suffering from a chronic condition, your GP should be kept in the loop when you turn to alternative medical treatments.
