Well Being Program

Our Well Being Program consists of a series of workshops developed to help each person realize happiness through a holistic approach to health. This particular workshop will be focused on purification and as with all of the workshops, it is designed to be highly personalized and very experiential.

Upcoming Workshop:


Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

This workshop we will be teaching about what it means to be healthy, the many definitions of health, and how to achieve optimal physical and mental health for total well-being. Over the course of three days in a beautiful ocean-side retreat you will learn techniques both modern and ancient to restore the body back into a state of balance with itself, and to give clarity to your mind.

Qi Gong: The science of coordinating breath and motion to heal the nervous system and revitalize your body. You will be guided through a series of traditional qi gong practices and postures at the beginning of each day to teach the body how to activate its own healing power.

Breathwork: In the evenings we will all practice a set of breathing techniques meant to purify the blood, increase circulation and eliminate stress while giving clarity of mind.

Diet: We are only as healthy as the food we eat! You will get to learn about how our food effects our health and state of mind from the perspective of alternative medicine and dietary therapy, and how to begin to heal yourself with wholesome foods.

Ethics: How we perceive our world and what our conditioned reactions are to it have a powerful effect on our sense of happiness and fulfillment in life, which in turn has a direct effect upon our mental, emotional and physical health. Each day we will investigate together concepts such as happiness and a meaningful life, and how to gain control over our sense of reality.

Yoga: You will learn a simple, beginner-level series of postures to give your body better alignment, balance and flexibility.

INTRO TO BREATHWORK :   Class in the City

Breathwork is an ancient science of wellbeing, rejuvenation and mental clarity that is practiced by many cultures around the world. With regular practice it has been shown to:

  • Calm the nervous system
  • Oxygenate the blood and organs
  • Purify the blood
  • Reduce signs of ageing
  • Vitalize the skin
  • Clear the mind
  • Expand awareness

In our class we will teach you the basics of breathwork and how to use it to relieve stress and improve wellbeing, while also teaching about long-honored spiritual benefits it provides.

Christopher Murphy has been a teacher, writer and lecturer on traditional spiritual practices for a decade. He currently runs a school for philosophy and advanced spiritual practice, and also gives workshops on wellbeing and living a meaningful life in the Dominican Republic.
